  On returning home I noticed the packed had already been opened, with all the accessories lose, the black band missing and the expiry date on the battery almost 2 years less than the specified 7.

  Walked in off the street with a genuine enquery about a phone holder for the car, found old mate to a bit rude and abrupt, asked him for some information about this but it seemed to me, I was asking him to donate a kidney or something. Not a good way to make sales, very unhelpful and won’t be back.

  In the process of negotiating a price match to a competitor on the PLB1, Rocklea store gave a slight discount and Annerley, none at all, until I quoted the price from Rocklea. I was told this should not have happened and that I should let them know that I have been price matched beforehand. On visiting the Annerley store I was told it was “quite rude” for asking for a price match where I had already been given one by another store. After paying, the store man refused my friendly handshake.

  I returned it the next day to Annerley for a refund and directed to the Rocklea store for a newer one. Being close to closing time I rang ahead where the store man accepted waiting 2 minutes, not a second longer. I arrived 1 minute past to the store man walking out locking the door in my face telling me he waited.

  Ended up going to Whitworth’s Marine & Leisure and purchasing the unit for cheaper, with more than 7 years battery life left.
